Le Chic C’est Freak
Cheribijntje,
A boy runs away with the Magic Potion. Afraid of being found by the Roman, he panics and drinks the entire Magic Potion at once.
Through this act, he undergoes a transformation: the little boy changes into an adult woman.
But because the inner energy is now completely balanced – between positive and negative, feminine and masculine – it no longer matters what Cheribijntje looks like.
What we see is the inner strength that shines.
The Roman searches, but can no longer find the little Cheribijntje.
And then, in full glory, Cheribijntje starts blowing bubbles of love towards the Roman.
He becomes completely bewildered.
Later, Cheribijntje and the other misfits blow bubbles of love together towards the Romans and the sleeping bystanders.
This causes everyone to find the balance between their freaky and chic sides.
And then… everyone spontaneously starts dancing, just like during the party.
Cheribijntje en de Onaagepasten
Promo version of the film for the event “Le Chic C’est Freak”. This short and fast-paced version of Cheribijntje was created for the event Le Chic C’est Freak, which took place on December 28, 2024, the Day of the Silly Children.
That symbolic day also served as the inspiration for the character “The Antihero of Kortjakje.”

Cheribijntje Pre Inspiration Movie 2
This second edit of the inspirational film uses the track “A Good Day” by Natural Born DJ’s, lightly remixed by DoMaT. To this music, Domat selected footage that captures the mood and emotions the film Cheribijntje & de Onaangepasten ultimately aims to convey.
The film serves as a guide for the volunteers involved, helping them better understand the energy and style we want to achieve. We do not hold rights to the footage — so we worked like true pirates. But in our view, music and film are meant to be shared, not claimed.
Cheribijntje Pre-Inspiration Film 1
First edit of the inspirational film. This initial edit of Cheribijntje & de Onaangepasten features original music produced by DoMaT. The footage was carefully edited to give a first impression of the atmosphere and universe of the film.
In this version, image and sound intuitively merge into a poetic sketch of what is to come. A different approach than the second edit, but definitely worth watching.
